Singapore Airlines’ KrisShop to partner with Ctrip

Travellers who book SIA flight tickets through Ctrip can purchase duty-free merchandise from KrisShop, Singapore Airlines’ flagship retail store. The airline is the first carrier to collaborate with China’s largest online travel services provider to offer a service to pre-order merchandise for collection on board their Singapore Airlines or SilkAir flight.

KrisShop partnership with Ctrip: the details

Some benefits resulting from the newly launched partnership will enable Ctrip customers to:

  • Order products up to 72 hours before flight departure for collection on board
  • Enjoy a 10 per cent discount when they purchase via Ctrip Global Shopping
  • Receive additional attractive offers yet to be announced.
Singapore Airlines will curate and offer KrisShop merchandise on Ctrip Global Shopping. 
SIA’s Senior Vice-President Sales & Marketing, Campbell Wilson is pleased that KrisShop and Ctrip offers the new one-stop duty-free shopping option.

He added that the collaboration allows SIA to ride on Ctrip’s expertise in e-commence. It will also provide a seamless and fuss-free online booking experience for its customers.
