Malindo Air in-flight food changes: more choices

Malindo Air has made some changes  to their in-flight food offerings. These changes, which took effect in mid-February give passengers more options with the addition of a snack trolley. The changes are a response to customer feedback and will apply to both Boeing and ATR serviced routes.

Please note that with effect from 15th October 2019, changes will also be made to in-flight meals.

In-flight food changes

On Boeing services, a wider range will be available. The options include

  • Hot and cold drinks
    • coffee and tea
    • mango and orange juice
    • soft drinks
    • alcoholic beverages
  • Snack items, including
    • hot cup noodles
    • red velvet cake
    • potato chips
    • Oreo, M&M’s and Kit Kat

These snacks are available for purchase, in addition to the complimentary hot meal or hot snack and drinking water provided.

Business class passengers continue to enjoy all these and more on a complimentary basis.

On ATR flights operating on routes of between one to two hours, combo packs of Starbucks Coffee with either bun or muffin are available for purchase on-board.

Malindo Exclusive Merchandise

Malindo Air flights on international sectors only also carry a good range of duty-free items. These can be pre-ordered before you leave, for delivery on-board.

Other items available for purchase include the “Get Comfy Kit”, which includes a fleece blanket and earphones available for RM25 online and RM30 on-board and reused on subsequent trips. Other merchandise items available on-board includes an exclusive keychain, mug, tumbler and dry-fit T-shirt.

Payments for all items sold on-board is available in multiple currencies in cash or by credit card.
