Cheapflights Awards 2017

Global flight search and travel deals platform Cheapflights has announced the list of nominees for the inaugural Cheapflights Awards. Celebrating industry excellence and innovation, the awards recognise Australia’s top performers in 18 categories.

Nathan Graham, Regional Sales Manager at Cheapflights ANZ, says “Australia’s tourism sector is outpacing much of the rest of the world with both international and domestic numbers continuing to surge, up more than six per cent on average year-on-year. There’s clearly a huge hunger in this industry and we’re proud to be able to recognise and support companies that are doing amazing work.”

The judging panel enlisted ten key travel and lifestyle media experts to shortlist the finalists. Amongst them were:

We’re thrilled to report that Economy Traveller has been nominated in the Favourite National Newspaper Travel Section or Travel Magazine category. Whilst it’s an honour just to be nominated, we’d be even more thrilled to be winners. So, faithful readers, please go here to vote.
