Travellers in Malaysia now have a new place to board their family feline when they are out of town. MASkargo have set up the MASkargo Animal Hotel in their cargo facility in Sepang, close to KLIA. While the Animal Hotel takes all kinds of amimals, they have recently signed a collaboration with Dewi Petshop for feline boarding services.
Your options
If you have to board your furbaby aka family feline aka ‘the cat’, you can drop the puss off at one of the outlets Dewi Petshop for MASkargo staff to collect them.
Dewi Petshop opened its cat-care doors in 2011. They have a number of stores in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur where you can drop off your cat. Prior booking is necessary.
Pet owners flying out of Kuala Lumpur International Airport have an additional pick-up option:
- Make a booking with the Animal Hotel prior to departure
- Bring the pet in a cage to the terminal before they check-in for your flight
- This is a chargeable service and must be pre-booked.
MASkargo Animal Hotel also offers animal translocation services for the import or export of a variety of different animals. The types of animals and their handling are subjected to IATA Live Animal Regulations.
