'name your price' upgrade

Have you purchased a confirmed Economy or Business class seat on any Malaysian Airlines flight more than 48 hours ago? The airline is offering a ‘name your price’ upgrade where you may name what you are willing to pay for a bit more comfort! Payment of course, is not made until your offer is accepted and you will be informed 48hours before your departure.

What makes this offer different from those offered by a third party is that you make your own offer direct to the airline. In this case there is a link placed directly on the home page, or if you have already made the booking more than 2 days ago, you can check your eligibility directly.

Enter your 5 character booking reference and your surname, your flight will appear with a slider for you to select your price for each leg of the flight. You may then enter your credit card number and if your offer is successful, you will be billed. Otherwise, you pay nothing and keep the seat you already have.

Among the advantages of upgrading you will enjoy are the comfort of an angled or reclining Business Class seat, equipped with in-flight entertainment system and receive complimentary luxury amenities on long-haul flights.

You will enjoy fine-dining meal choices and access to Malaysia Airlines Golden Lounges with gourmet meals, free Wi-Fi and other facilities to make your wait more comfortable.

With extra checked baggage allowance, you may use the check-in facilities at the Business Class check-in counters and fast track through immigration clearance via the airports Premier Lane.

Baggage allowances – up to two pieces of baggage weighing 40kg in total, one piece of sports equipment up to 15kg and two pieces of hand luggage up to 7kg each.
