The recently launched oneworld customer information portal provides passengers the latest updates on the health and well-being while travelling. The move underlines the commitment by the global alliance’s member airlines to the safety and care of their passengers.
oneworld customer information portal
This new portal serves as a one-stop customer resource for information. It covers both on-ground and inflight measures implemented by oneworld member airlines and major airports in the oneworld global network. Customers travelling on multi-sector journeys across the alliance are assured of member airlines’ commitment to protecting their health and well-being throughout their journey.
The measures introduced by member airlines include
- contactless check-in
- enhanced and expanded cleaning
- of aircraft
- customer touch-points
- in airports and lounges
- physical distancing during the boarding process
- the wearing of masks and face coverings
These are additional to inflight measures including the use of HEPA (high-efficiency particulate air) filters on board aircraft.
The portal layout is clean and easy to read, with the information divided into “Member Airport Hubs” and “Member Airlines Health and Safety”. The text size is large and easy to read making it easy to select and click through to your airport or airline.
Travellers can easily access the latest information on the health and well-being measures implemented by their preferred oneworld airline or check measures introduced at major airports in the oneworld global network.
…. Safety has always been the top priority for oneworld member airlines. While the flying experience is different during these challenging times, our member airlines have implemented additional measures to protect the health and safety of customers. oneworld CEO Rob Gurney
He added that the portal is part of this commitment, giving travellers greater peace of mind as they resume travelling.
