Malindo Air resumes limited domestic operations

Malindo Air resumes limited domestic operations with a focus on services out of Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Subang Skypark. This offers connections to most of the airline’s domestic destinations in Malaysia since 12th June as the government gradually relaxes rules on the travel and social restrictions.

Limited domestic operations available

The reinstated scheduled services include daily flights from Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, Subang to

  • Kota Bharu
  • Penang
  • Alor Setar
  • Johor Baharu
  • Kuala Terengganu
  • Langkawi

Ipoh – Johor Baharu services also resumed on 12th June with three flights a week.

Malindo Air will get you in the air with the following deals:

Balik Raya with one-way fares from:

  • MYR199 one-way fare for travel within Peninsula Malaysia from Subang Airport
  • MYR289 one-way fare for travel between KLIA and Kuching
  • MYR389 one-way fare from KLIA to Kota Kinabalu

He also assured travellers that the airline’s international services across the network would be reinstated in stages as the global health situation improves. This will be in line with all regulatory conditions.

Flight waivers and refunds

Malindo Air confirms that customers whose flights were cancelled due to Covid-19 will retain the full value of the unused portion of their tickets. This is in the form of Travel Vouchers. The redemption period of the travel vouchers is extended to 12 months and the travel period will be up to 11 months ahead of the redemption date.

This means that if you redeem your voucher in March 2021, you can book a flight up to February 2022. Can’t travel yourself? Malindo Air allows passengers to transfer the value of the Travel Vouchers to family and friends or use it as Gift Vouchers.
