AirAsia celebrates two inaugural flights into Johor Bahru

Two inaugural flights in twelve hours, from Macao and Kolkata, kept AirAsia staff busy at Johor Bahru’s Senai International Airport. The flight from Macao was first to land in the evening of 28th November. It was followed 12 hours later by the first flight in from Kolkata, India.

The expansion of the Johor Bahru hub has been possible through the addition of new routes this year. Following Johor Bahru-Jakarta, Johor Bahru-Kuala Terengganu and Johor Bahru-Langkawi earlier this year these two new routes bring the number to five.

AirAsia will fly seven direct flight weekly from Johor Bahru to Macao with five weekly direct flights to Kolkata.
