PT TransNusa Aviation Mandiri (TransNusa) has announced that they have received additional scheduled flight slots to operate extra Changi flights, on both its Singapore-Jakarta and Singapore-Bali Routes. The increase enables the airline to respond to strong demand for travel between Indonesia and Singapore. Changes have also been made to baggage allowances for different fare bundles.
Extra Changi flights to strengthen connectivity
These additional flights are part of the TransNusa’s future development strategy of expanding regional connectivity in response to the growing demand for travel between Indonesia and Singapore as these two markets have long had strong economic, cultural, and tourism ties.
In announcing the starting dates for the two additional scheduled services, TransNusa Group CEO Bernard Francis said that the sale of tickets started on 17th March and are available directly from their website or on any main online travel agency platform. Flights between Soekarno–Hatta International Airport in Jakarta and Singapore Changi Airport will start on 17th April with 2nd May will see the inaugural flight of the additional service from Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali to Changi Airport. He further noted that Singapore is one of the region’s vital aviation and commercial hub, and the additional flights offer travellers with greater flexibility. The improved scheduling options makes same-day connections to a wider network of destinations, benefitting TransNusa’s passengers.

There is no time difference between Singapore and Bali.
Using Airbus A320 aircraft in a 174-seat configuration on both the international routes, the airline says they are committed to providing affordable and competitive ticket prices, while still providing premium services to their customers.
Differing fare levels for different needs
For its international flights, TransNusa offers three product bundles called SEAT, SEAT-PLUS and FLEXI-PRO, allowing travellers to select the additional services they require. A number of adjustments have also been announced:
SEAT passengers will now enjoy check-in baggage of 20kgs in addition to the passenger’s 7kgs hand carry limit. For FLEXI-PRO, the highest package, the baggage allowance has been increased to 30kgs, along with freedom to choose seats, complimentary food, drinks, and priority boarding. TransNusa also allows FLEXI-PRO passengers unrestricted flight schedule changes and refund without restrictions when needed.
TransNusa is the second Indonesian airline to fly to China, in addition to offering flights to Singapore, Guangzhou, Kuala Lumpur, Perth, Shanghai, and Shenzhen.
