Singapore Airlines Launches Miles Of Good Campaign

Singapore Airlines today launched a Miles of Good Campaign, part of their #SIAcares corporate social responsibility initiative. The campaign targets a total of 100 million KrisFlyer miles raised from members and donated to selected frontline and essential workers. This is in recognition of their tireless service to the public during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Miles of Good Campaign

From 20th July, KrisFlyer members can nominate deserving individuals with a minimum donation of 1,000 miles. Guidelines for nomination include:

  • KrisFlyer members and their nominees must reside in the same country or territory.
  • Eligible nominees include:
    • healthcare workers
    • public transport workers
    • supermarket employees
    • cleaners
    • food delivery, courier and postal services personnel
  • Members can also donate their miles without making any nomination.

KrisFlyer members may submit nominations and donate miles at the Miles of Good campaign landing page at singaporeair.com/miles-of-good.

Singapore Airlines hopes to raise 70 million KrisFlyer miles through these donations with the airline contributing another 30 million. Nominations close 10th August 2020, members have until 20th November 2020 to donate their miles.

 The Nominees

Singapore Airlines will contact eligible nominees. They will be invited to submit their personal details and provide their KrisFlyer membership number. They will then share their personal story via an online form on the landing page.

After the selection process, successful nominees will be contacted by Singapore Airlines. They will receive up to 60,000 KrisFlyer miles credited into their accounts. These miles can be used to book flights on Singapore Airlines, SilkAir, Scoot or on other KrisFlyer partner airlines.

They can also be used to redeem:

  • gift items
  • hotel stays
  • car rentals
  • or these services via KrisShop, KrisFlyer vRooms, and KrisPay (only available in Singapore):
    • shopping
    • dining
    • wellness and grooming services
