Malaysia Airlines and Japan Airlines in Joint-Business

Malaysia Airlines (MH) and Japan Airlines (JL) have announced the launch of a joint-business partnership on 25th July 2020 This will see the two carriers cooperate commercially on flights between Malaysia and Japan.

The joint-business partnership will further enhance convenience between Japan and Malaysia allowing customers to benefit from more flight choices. With Malaysia Airlines resuming flights to Japan in July, both airlines will together offer four weekly services between Kuala Lumpur – Tokyo Narita in July and August.

Joint-Business Initiatives

This initiative enables both airlines to enhance their capabilities and leverage on each other’s strengths. The carriers shared best practices and responsibilities are directed towards a kong term sustainable business model. Japan Airlines brings their renowned precision in service and offerings to the table, with Malaysia Airlines’ signature Malaysian Hospitality, customers will enjoy the best travel experience.

The airlines are committed to uphold the highest standards in aircraft safety and hygiene procedures to protect their passengers and employees. Significant shifts in consumer expectations on air travel post COVID-19 dictate new norms. This requires modifications to offerings on ground and onboard to uphold the highest safety and health standards. These processes and procedures range from check-in and boarding to arrival.
