Qantas and Jetstar Asia are set to move to Terminal 3 at Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta International Airport this month. The move is set to take place on May 11, 2018. This follows earlier moves by several airlines, including Malaysia Airlines on April 9. Thai Airways also started flying from Terminal 3 on May 1. Ultimately, it is anticipated that all international flights will operate from Terminal 3 by the end of July 2018.
New terminal, new facilities
Terminal 3 boasts new facilities that travellers, visitors and airport workers will welcome. These include:
- e-parking
- a crowd management system
- free WiFi
- self check-in (being progressively rolled out
- digital banners
- an e-kiosk way finding system
- body scanners
- auto-gate immigration service
- a trolley management system.
