Firefly have teamed up with a new Express Meal provider to make pre-booked meals available for self-pickup for passengers flying out of Subang Skypark International Airport.
Although all flights of an hour or more will see the serving of a snack (peanuts or a pastry) and a drink, passenger feedback shows that passengers also want the option of booking reasonably priced, good quality meals.
In the first month since the tie-up with new provider Kampong Kravers, demand has doubled for the meals which are halal and use fresh ingredients with no added preservatives, MSG or artificial colouring.
The new Firefly Express Meals menu features five authentic Malaysian favorites – Nasi Lemak Basmati with/without Ayam Berempah, Mihun Briyani with Ayam Berempah (Vegetarian option available), Chicken Karipap and Sweet Potato Karipap.
Pricing is at RM3.90, RM6.90 and RM11.90 depending on the meal type.
Passengers will need to pre-book their meals online when they book their tickets, for self-collection from Kampong Kravers (located on the Mezzanine Floor at Subang Skypark International Airport) prior to boarding their flights. Firefly’s existing complimentary refreshments will continue to be served onboard all flights.
