AirAsia adds a second Taiwan destination – Kaohsiung

AirAsia has, at 16th July 2015, made its first scheduled flight to its second Taiwan destination, Kaohsiung, in the south of the island.

The thrice weekly flights will run every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings between Kuala Lumpur (KLIA2) and Kaohsiung International Airport, returning the same afternoon.

This route adds an extra route to those currently offered by the AirAsia and AirAsia X Group with flights connecting Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu to Taipei and Indonesia AirAsia Extra flights between Bali and Taipei.

AirAsia is currently offering promotional all-in one way fares from RM199 between Kuala Lumpur and Kaohsiung to commemorate this successful inaugural flight. Bookings may be made until 19th July 2015 for immediate travel until 30th Sept 2015. All promotional fares can be booked online at the the AirAsia website, as well as via AirAsia’s mobile apps on iPhone and Android devices, and also AirAsia’s mobile site.

AirAsia has also commenced operations for two other new routes within the AirAsia network with the inaugural flight between Kuala Lumpur and Pattaya commencing on 15th July 2015 and the route between Johor Bahru and Bangkok on 17th July.
