…. We are very delighted to launch the only service between Kota Bharu and our famous holiday destination of Langkawi. This new service is in response to the high demand by the public. We believe there are immense opportunities for future growth associated with this new connectivity. Malindo Air CEO, Capt Mushafiz Bin Mustafa Bakri

Langkawi is a tax-free haven and the Langkawi pilot travel bubble has given Malaysians an incentive to travel again after almost two years of travel restrictions during the Covid-19 pandemic. You have a lot to choose from, a great array of easily available food, natural scenery and landscapes with two UNESCO Geoparks and an interesting cultural heritage to explore.

Mushafiz added that the airline is working closely with Langkawi Development Authority, Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia Kelantan, and all the tourism agencies in both states. Kota Bharu is a jumping off spot to the beautiful Perhentian Islands, as well as offering beautiful silverware, weaving and batik to take home.
