AirAsia X will expand the number of weekly flights from Kuala Lumpur to Honolulu via Osaka, Japan from 16th August 2018. You’ll now be closer to that swim at the famous Waikiki beach with daily flights, up from the current four.

The increased frequency comes in response to strong demand and AirAsia X is celebrating with great promo fares. Fares start from MYR 700 one-way, inclusive of taxes. Tickets are on sale between 28th May 2018 and 3rd June 2018, for the travel between 18th Aug and 13th Aug 2019. Bookings can be made using the AirAsia mobile app on Android or iPhone.

Stopover in Osaka
As the stopover in Osaka is 2 hours, you’ll need to leave the aircraft. However, this isn’t a disaster, as Osaka’s Kansai Airport is very efficient and easy. Pick up some mochi balls to take on with you and refill your water bottle, or just relax as you wait. You don’t need a Japanese visa during the two-hour stopover, and you’ll keep the same seats on your flight. There is a security check, so make sure you have all your carry-on belongings.
