Earn BIG Points with Web or Mobile Check-In

AirAsia mobile & web check-in, earn BIG Points

If you’re an AirAsia BIG member flying on AirAsia out of Kuala Lumpur’s KLIA2, earn BIG Points for checking in before you leave home. Each time you check in this way, you’ll earn yourself 100 BIG points to put towards your future trips or purchases.

Boarding Passes may either be printed out or saved in your mobile devices before arriving at klia2. There’s no time frame given for this offer, apart from ‘limited time’, so we’ll update this post if an end date is specified.

This initiative is designed to encourage self check-in early, as part of the airline’s move to fully-automate the check-in process. Mobile and Web check-in services are available 14 days from your departure, up to 1 hour prior, when the Baggage Drop counters close for all AirAsia flights.

  • You can perform web and mobile check-in up to 4 hours prior to departure for all AirAsia X flights. Download the Mobile App for Android and iOS.
  • Your 100 BIG points will be credited to your BIG account when you’ve completed the web or mobile check-in process and have your boarding passes printed.
  • For travellers requiring document checking (certain countries or passports), you’ll need to proceed to the dedicated document check counters at klia2 to ensure your travel documents are in order.

Once all these procedures are completed, you can proceed straight to the boarding gate when you arrive at klia2 if you have no checked baggage, allowing you to skip all queues before the immigration and custom check points. If you have baggage to be checked-in you may drop your bags at the Baggage Drop counters at least one hour before departure.

Please note: Passengers travelling on a group booking, or those with reduced mobility or special should proceed to the service counters for assistance.
