Looking for some great souvenirs or products in Kuala Lumpur? You can now find the AirAsia Foundation‘s Destination: GOOD in REXKL, Kuala Lumpur’s latest multicultural creative and entrepreneurial hub. REXKL, the former iconic Rex Cinema, is located in Jalan Sultan in Chinatown. From a derelict burnt out shell, the cinema has been reborn as a go-to hub for all things creative.

Destination: GOOD in REXKL

Since its inception two years ago, AirAsia Foundation has operated Destination: GOOD as a pop-up store in various locations, including Kuala Lumpur International Airport (klia2). The shop will now have a permanent address in REXKL, This is a good fit as both promote culture and foster a sense of community.

AirAsia Foundation opened Destination: GOOD in REXKL, its new home, on 23rd August 2019 in a ceremony officiated by Minister of Finance YB Lim Guan Eng.

Destination: GOOD retails more than 400 responsibly and ethically produced goods sourced from over 30 social enterprises from around Asean. It’s more than a shop. The initiative is an exchange, fostering collaboration between Asean social entrepreneurs and community-based enterprises.

To end the event, guests enjoyed a showcase of the new GOOD/jahat/ travel-themed collection. This is a collaboration between AirAsia Foundation and Malaysian conceptual design house Projek Jahat. The twelve-piece ensemble, using upcycled AirAsia materials, was launched at the opening of Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2019. All pieces from this collection are now available at Destination: GOOD.

Visit Destination: GOOD in REXKL every weekend, Thursday to Sunday. REXKL Opens at 10am until late.
