Langkawi / Guangzhou
The 24th January 2016 saw the arrival of the first flight of the new four times weekly service linking Langkawi and Guangzhou when it landed from Guangzhou with almost a full load of passengers.
Included in the passenger list were representatives from the Guangdong Tourism Authority and a group of media from Guangzhou, who were on a familiarisation visit to the island getaway. They were met by representatives of the Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) and AirAsia officials.
