Travellers hoping for AirAsia to add extra CNY flights will be pleased to hear that over the Chinese New Year period between 25th January and 1st February 2017 to selected domestic and international destinations.
The extra CNY flights
Over the eight day period, the airline will add an extra eighty-four flights on various routes usually popular during the festival. These additional services will make an extra 15,000 seats available for booking.
Included in the extras are flights
- Kuala Lumpur to Singapore, Penang, Sibu and Tawau
- Penang to Singapore
- Kuching to Singapore
- Johor Bahru to Miri and Sibu
Bookings for these extra flights as well as normal scheduled services may be made on the AirAsia website or by using the AirAsia mobile app for iPhone and Android devices.
Check-In early!
During the festive period and travelling peak season, AirAsia encourages all passengers to
- conduct self check-in via the website or on mobile devices and the kiosks at the airport
- arrive at the airport at least 3 hours prior to flight departure with boarding pass readily printed
- if you have checked baggage, please note that baggage drop counters close 60 minutes before flight departure.
