AirAsia X and Sony bring Noise Cancelling Headphones to their Premium Flatbed customers as part of a recently announced partnership.

Introduced to ‘pointy end’ passengers on Kuala Lumpur-Tokyo Haneda flights since 26th February 2018, the stylish red headphones allow passengers to enjoy their entertainment in peace.

The h.ear on 2 Wireless Noise Cancelling WH-900N wireless headphones are paired with AirAsiaX’s Xcite inflight entertainment tablets. They’re not only stylish, but comfortable and portable having been designed for improved sound quality and overall comfort. The noise-cancelling ambient mode will provide passengers with full control of their listening experience without outside interference.

AirAsia X Group Head of Commercial Barry Klipp, commented that while Kuala Lumpur-Tokyo Haneda flights are the first to offer these headphones, a planned deployment to other routes is in the works.

He added that the the addition of the headphones with their superb high-resolution audio and noise cancellation, further raises the bar for AirAsia’s premium offering.  AirAsia X is the only low-cost airline to offer a fully reclinable flatbed.
