With borders closed in many countries and airports really quiet and empty, airport hotels are also suffering. Kuala Lumpur International Airport’s (KLIA) Sama-Sama Hotel is not ‘sitting on their hands’. They’re offering a 2 day/1 night KLIA Staycation for a family of four with a visit to the airport fire-station thrown in on on 29th and 30th August 2020.

Sama-Sama Hotel is directly connected to KLIA by a covered walkway and buggy transport is available those in need.

Update: We’ve managed to get a room, so look forward to our review, come early September!
Despite calling up to make a reservation within 2 hours of the KLIA Staycation being advertised, I missed out! The room allotment for staycation on 29th and 30th August 2020 has been fully booked. However, the reservation staff suggested I email my registration details so we’d go on a wait list.
So if you’re keen, contact their reservation staff by phone at +603 8787 3333 or email them [email protected]. Hopefully they will either make more places available, or offer the opportunity another weekend.
