Tigerair announces Brisbane-Canberra, ups Melbourne-Canberra

Tigerair Australia has today announced a new Brisbane-Canberra service, introducing the only low-cost Canberra service to the Queensland city. The service launches on 14 September 2017 and flies three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The Brisbane departure time varies by departure day and is subject to change at this time. The flight is scheduled to leave Brisbane between 10:15 AM and 10:45 AM, arriving in Canberra between 12:05 and 12:35 PM. The return service departs Canberra at 1:05 PM and lands in Brisbane at 2:45 PM (AEST).

To celebrate the launch, a limited number of $10 Light fares will be made available on 14 September. The sale fares are available between now and 11:59PM AEST Saturday May 27. Seats are strictly limited, so book now at tigerair.com.au.

Additional weekly Melbourne-Canberra service

In addition to the new route on the Tigerair network, an additional Friday frequency has been added between Melbourne and Canberra. This additional flight leaves Melbourne at 2:20 PM, arriving in Canberra at 3:25 PM. The return flight leaves Canberra at 3:55 PM for a 5:05 PM arrival into Melbourne.
