Singapore Airlines (SIA) has extended their F1 Singapore Grand Prix Title sponsorship for two more years, until 2021. The Singapore Grand Prix shows off the Singapore sights to worldwide television viewers as drivers race through the Marina Bay Circuit in a challenging evening race.

Since the first Singapore race in 2008, this street track has proven popular with F1 fans. The city state offers great accommodation and has many other attractions to keep you busy during the mornings.

Formula 1 Chairman and CEO Chase Carey is looking forward to the 2019 event, which is always an amazing spectacle. The race is also a physically demanding race for the drivers. Carey is very pleased that Singapore Airlines will continue to be the title sponsor for the event, adding:
…. Singapore Airlines has been working closely with Formula 1 at the Marina Bay Circuit since 2014 and during that time we have seen brilliant races under the lights of an amazing circuit.
The Marina Bay Circuit spans 5.063km with 23 corners, a bumpy street surface, tight corners and humid conditions. The circuit also boasts one of the F1 calendar’s unique feature on any their tracks. Turn 18 takes the drivers underneath the grandstand overlooking Marina Bay. The race is held in the last half of September every year.
