Krisflyer renewal criteria

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has relaxed their PPS Club and Krisflyer renewal criteria to let members retain their current status beyond March 2021. The unspoken acknowledgment of the travel restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic introduces a number of non-flight options to earn status credits.

PPS Club and Krisflyer renewal criteria

For starters, all PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite memberships expiring between March 2020 and February 2021 are automatically extended by 12 months upon expiry. Memberships expiring between March 2021 and February 2022, need half the PPS Value or Elite miles required during the membership year to retain their status.

Until 15th October, PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite members can earn PPS Value or Elite miles on non-air spend and activities. This also counts towards renewal of their membership status. More details are available in the table below and on the KrisFlyer page.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, SIA has introduced several additional initiatives to support members. These include:

  • Extending the validity of all PPS Rewards and Elite Gold Rewards expiring up to March 2021
  • Validity  extension of KrisFlyer Elite miles expiring between April and December 2020
    • extended by between six to 12 months
  • PPS Club Gift Vouchers issued in 2019 – validity period extended to December 2020

Singapore Airlines will continue to review its loyalty programmes and membership conditions.

…. We are very grateful to our PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite members, who have shown unwavering support for Singapore Airlines throughout this unprecedented crisis. By making it easier for them to renew their membership status, we hope to both allay their concerns and show our appreciation for their loyalty. JoAnn Tan, Acting Senior Vice President Marketing Planning, Singapore Airlines
