Malaysia Airlines has recently implemented a number of changes to make their Enrich loyalty cards more user friendly. Members will benefit from two of these changes relating to making duty free purchases. The airline’s improved and personalised Enrich member portal has now been fully integrated into

The uprgaded member portal is now more easily accessed from the the Malaysia Airlines website, offering greater convenience. You’ll find the button at the bottom of the Home Page.

Two immediate benefits to members are

  • greater ease of navigation and
  • easier access to online offers.

Change of duty free concessionaire

Following a tender process late last year, the duty free concession was awarded to Miami based DFASS Group. The previous concessionaire for Malaysia Airlines’ inflight shopping programme ‘Temptations’ was ISG.

The benefit for members include

  • Access to the latest “state of the art” point of sales system and an world standard e-commerce platform.
  • Capability to pre-order from a wide product range for onboard or home delivery

The home delivery option is currently only available in Malaysia. Such purchases attract a 6% GST, plus delivery charges.

  • The online pre-order service offers onboard delivery on flights of over three hours.
  • Pre-order facility is available up to 90 days in advance.
  • Final purchases or changes available up to 72 hours before departure
  • Onboard preorder is available for both inbound and outbound flights to/from Kuala Lumpur.

Member rewards

Enrich members no longer need to redeem points for vouchers to exchange for products.

  • Points redeemed online can be used to purchase products on board their flight.
  • Members can earn up to 2 points for every RM1 spent.

The next phase of the roll-out includes international shipping for international Enrich members to access the home delivery service
