Malindo Air and Turkish Airlines have begun a code-sharing partnership, following the interline partnership agreement inked in June 2016. The code-sharing co-operation, which took effect from 6th September 2017, takes the partnership to a new level. This allows both airlines to use the code-sharing partnership to offer their passengers more travel options.
Code-sharing partnership – where can I fly?
Turkish Airlines will place its marketing code and flight number on Malindo Air’s flights from Kuala Lumpur to
- Denpasar (Indonesia)*
- Perth (Australia)
- Langkawi (Malaysia)
- Penang (Malaysia)
- Kuching (Malaysia) and
- Kota Kinabalu (Malaysia)
Malindo Air will place its marketing code and flight number on the trunk route (Kuala Lumpur-Istanbul v.v.) and
- Istanbul-London
- Amsterdam
- Vienna
- Frankfurt and
- Copenhagen v.v.
These routes are operated by Turkish Airlines.
Passengers who have been flying these routes since mid-2016, will appreciate the convenience and flexibility of the code-share arrangement. Bookings for flights covered in the code-sharing partnership can now be made from www.malindoair.com and www.turkishairlines.com. **Some routes may be subject to necessary final civil aviation approvals from the country concerned.
