Passengers on Malindo Air’s Flight OD1014 to Kota Kinabalu on Thursday 22nd March 2018, enjoyed a special treat. Kota Kinabalu was the airline’s first destination in 2013 so OD1014 was the logical choice for their 5th Birthday party. As they boarded the aircraft, passengers received a goodie bag to take home.
5th Birthday in-flight party
The in-flight party followed completion of the lunch service on the 2hr 20min flight, with crew handing out party hats. Passengers had the chance to win prizes for answering questions or demonstrating a skill. The questions were not too difficult, especially as some answers were on the goodie bag.
Three passengers who flown more than 10 times with the airline, also took home prizes. The star of the show was probably the very sporting mackik who sang ‘Happy Birthday’ before everyone was invited to join in.

Special fares to celebrate
In conjunction with the celebration, Malindo Air is offering special fares for five million seats across their network with one-way fares starting from MYR 55. The offers are available until 25th March 2018 for travel between 1st July 2018 and 28th February 2019. Business Class base fares start from MYR 155.
Tickets from KLIA to Penang or Langkawi start from MYR 55 all-in, which includes a snack, entertainment and 25kg luggage. Offer fares are also available from Ipoh, Penang, Subang Skypark and Melaka to a range of destinations.
