The Malaysia Airlines Travel Fair (MATF) returns in 2022 as international borders around the region reopen, with some great offers available. The Fair runs from 25th March to 4th April 2022 offering airfares up to 45% off tickets to selected destinations. On offer are both domestic and selected international destinations, as well as holiday packages and services. Tickets are for immediate travel, until 30th November 2022.

Domestic fares within Peninsular Malaysia start at RM79 all-in one-way for an Economy Class ticket. This includes cabin baggage allowance of 7kg, complimentary snacks or meals and beverages, as well as inflight entertainment. Business Class fares start from RM379 all-in one-way for flights within Peninsular Malaysia as well as travel between Sabah and Sarawak. These come with access to the Golden Lounge, complimentary 40kg baggage allowance and extra comfort in the sky.
Malaysia’s international borders reopen on 1st April 2022, with Malaysia Airlines recently announcing increases in flight frequency to some of its key destinations.
Some of the key destinations on offer
All-in return fares on the flagship Kuala Lumpur-London route start from RM3,099 for a ticket in Economy Class and RM11,999 in Business Class.
Head off to India, flights to its capital Delhi, with all-in return flights available from RM1,699 in Economy Class. All-in return tickets to Mumbai start from RM1,799 and to Chennai from RM1,099. Return tickets to Hyderabad and Bangalore are available from RM1,199.
Fully vaccinated travellers also have the advantage of seamless travel to neighbouring countries with recently eased travel restrictions for visitors. Travel all-in one-way, to Bali quarantine-free starting from RM499 Economy or RM999 or Business Class. To Thailand, fares start from RM299 to Phuket and RM359 to Bangkok.
