Malaysia Airlines Berhad (MAB) has announced the setting up of a partnership with Universal Charter Sdn Bhd to extend the airline’s reach in China through the provision of scheduled air charter services between Kota Kinabalu and Tianjin, Nanning and Chengdu in China, currently not served by the Malaysia Airlines network.

The services, which will run 180 flights between 15th December 2015 and 31st March 2016, will take advantage of the end of year and festival holiday period and offer additional Chinese tourists easier entry to well known tourist spots in East Malaysia.

This partnership is supported by the Malaysia Tourism Promotion Berhad, whose representatives were also present at the signing ceremony.

The service will utilise B737-800 for the service and should be available for booking soon.
