Malaysia Airlines celebrates with Malaysia Day video and offers

by on September 17, 2017

Malaysia Airlines has released a special Malaysia Day video this year, celebrating both the event and promote Malaysia’s ‘hidden gems’. The theme is similar to previous sentiments – #MakinKenalMakinCinta which translates as “the more you know, the more you love“.

Malaysia Day video – can I visit these hidden gems?

These hidden gems include Pulau Nanga in Johor, Pulau Bohey Dulang in Sabah and Pantai Tusan in Miri, Sarawak. The video was produced in collaboration with GOASEAN to display Malaysia’s best kept secrets to the world. In coming months, Malaysia Airlines’ website will feature these breathtaking locations which represent all states in Malaysia.

You can pick up an all-in one-way Economy Class ticket to explore Malaysia’s hidden gems from MYR 149. The tickets go on sale for Malaysia Day at malaysiaairlines.com to Malaysia Airlines’ domestic destinations for immediate travel until 31st October 2017. All-in one-way Business Class tickets are available from MYR 369.

Malaysia Airlines fares include 30kg check-in baggage for Economy Class and 40kg for Business Class. Meals are included and there are no credit card charges.

….. The video showcases Malaysia Airlines’ pride in flying our customers to beautiful places in Malaysia that many have either not uncovered or forgotten. This is our way of expressing and celebrating our love for Malaysia, especially during Malaysia Day on 16 September. …. We hope to inspire Malaysians especially the Malaysia Airlines family to always put the country close to our hearts in everything that we do. Malaysia Airlines’ CEO, Peter Bellew

In his comments, GOASEAN’s Senior Vice President Edwin Raj added:

….. As Malaysians, there are many great things to celebrate. We are blessed with our rich diversity in people, culture, food and festivities …… A backdrop of luscious greenery and filled with some of the world’s most exotic wildlife. We are excited to share it with the rest of the world. At GOASEAN, we bring the world to beautiful Malaysia by showcasing hidden treasures in the region which people can experience with Malaysia Airlines, the national carrier. Edwin Raj
