The March School Holidays are coming in Malaysia and to help with your travel budget, Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL) is reintroducing its Group Saver and Family Package for travel on KLIA Ekspres during the week-long school break.
Family Package: For RM120 one-way you can have tickets for 2 adults and 2 children (from 2 to 12 years old) – a saving of 25% from the normal fares.
Group Saver: If you’re travelling with family or friends in a group of three or more, you can save RM15 from the normal one-way fare. The discounted fare is RM40 per person (KLIA Ekspres Standard One-Way Fare is RM55).
How to purchase:
These special packages can be bought online until 20th March 2016. The e-tickets are valid for travel on customer’s selected travel date for the travelling period of Friday, 11th March to Sunday, 20th March 2016.
What about my luggage?
You will need to take it with you on the train – there are special luggage bays in each carriage.
However, if you are flying with Malaysia Airlines, Royal Brunei, Cathay Pacific Airways, Emirates or Etihad Airways to use the check-in facility available at KL City Air Terminal in KL Sentral to avoid long queues at the airport. This will save you time and the wait in a queue at KLIA, especially with increased passenger traffic during the school holidays.
