If you’re looking for holiday ideas for 2016, or perhaps a ticket for a business trip you have in the offing, this may be the time to book, as MalaysiaAirlines have some good prices on flights out of Australia to Kuala Lumpur and onward if you book by 10th December 2015.

How much and when can I fly?

With fares from $742 for a Return Economy Class fare to Kota Kinabalu from Perth or $3147 return in Business Class, you can travel to Malaysia and South-East Asia between 2nd February and 3rd April, 25th April and 26th June, and from 25th July to 31st August 2016. Flights to South Asia Sub-Continent destinations are available for departure from 16th January – 31st August 2016 and to the UK between 16th January and 24th March 2016.

Malaysia Airlines offers direct flights from Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Darwin to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Airlines’ international hub, with convenient connections to their network across Malaysia and South-East Asia, the South Asia Sub-Continent and the United Kingdom, with a generous checked luggage allowance of 30kg for Economy passengers, 40kg for Business travellers.

If you are travelling in Economy class, the MalaysiaAirlines MH Gourmet service allows guests to replace their complimentary meal with a delectable fine-dining feast including a gourmet main inspired by Malaysian, Japanese or Western cuisine, alongside an appetiser, dessert, chocolates and crunchy fresh bread. The service is available for order at least 24 hours before departure with prices starting from RM70 (approximately AU$25) per meal on flights from Kuala Lumpur to selected destinations in Australia and New Zealand.
