Firefly refreshes its in-flight meals experience

Malaysia Aviation Group subsidiary, Firefly is upgrading its in-flight meals experience from 1st June 2024. Passengers can enjoy a refreshed menu of pre-booked meals and snacks available on all Firefly jet operation routes. In addition, passengers can now opt for the ‘FY Neighbour-Free Seat’ option on selected routes in Firefly’s Economy class, allowing them to reserve up to two adjacent empty seats for extra comfort during their flight. This will be available for bidding through a dedicated portal up to seventy-two (72) hours before the flight departure.

In-flight meals on offer

The refreshed menu showcases a selection of Malaysians’ culinary favourites, from beloved classics like Nasi Lemak and Chicken Rice to new additions such as Ginger Beef Udon, Nasi Goreng Chicken Satay, Thai Basil Chicken, Sweet and Sour Fish, Mapo Tofu (Vegetarian), and Mac and Cheese (Junior Meal). This diverse selection caters to various dietary preferences, offering greater choice to passengers.

In addition to the new meal options, Firefly is also introducing nine new products to its food and beverage lineup, available across all sectors. These include Malaysian owned business Tapping Tapir soda drinks and Mamee Chef snacks, along with Tong Garden Baked Nuts & Dried Fruits and Sabah Tea 3 in 1 Milk Classic Tea.
