AirAsia adds Manado in North Sulawesi to their network

Manado in North Sulawesi is the newest destination in AirAsia’s network with the addition of direct flights Kota Kinabalu in Sabah. This is airline’s second route from Sabah to Indonesia after Jakarta and you can take flight from 1st September 2024 with a choice of three weekly services.

Kota Kinabalu is building its reputation as a popular hub, with Manado as AirAsia’s 13th  international route offering a total of 83 flights weekly from/to Kota Kinabalu from September 2024 onwards.

To celebrate the launch of the new route, AirAsia is offering FREE* Seats from Kota Kinabalu to Manado from RM139 all-in one-way and IDR 468,020 all-in one-way from Manado to Kota Kinabalu.(*The FREE Seats are for the BASE FARE and does not include taxes and other applicable fees.
The all-in one way fare from RM139/IDR468,020 includes airport taxes, MAVCOM fee, fuel surcharges and other applicable fees. Other terms and conditions apply.)

Flights are now available for booking on AirAsia MOVE (previously airasia Superapp) and until 16th June 2024 for travel between 1st September 2024 and 28 March 2025.

What’s there to see and do in Manado?

The capital city of North Sulawesi is famous for its stunning underwater landscape and great mountain panorama.
