The new World’s Longest Flight has now landed at Auckland Airport. The new Emirates flight 448 from Dubai covered the 14,200 km journey in a flying time of slightly over 15 hours.

Emirates used an Airbus A380 for the inaugural flight, which flew southeast towards Perth before looping down below the Great Australian Bight and over Melbourne, approaching Auckland from the South West.

Future flights will be operated by a Boeing 777-200LR.
