Civil Servants and Airport workers benefit with new Monthly TravelCard

Civil Servants and Airport workers at Putrajaya/Cyberjaya and Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) will be pleased with new Monthly Travel Cards announced on 5th May 2026. These cards, which come in two versions, were launched at a ceremony at KLIA T2 by YB Loke Siew Fook, Minister of Transport Malaysia, and YBrs. Two versions of Monthly Travel Card

The MyKLIA Monthly TravelCard and MyPutrajaya Monthly TravelCard, are a strategic initiative offering lower, more affordable fares for frequent commuters on selected routes. The card has been developed in two versions to reflect the different requirements of workers from each location. You must fulfil certain requirements to purchase the card. Looking at the discounts given on the new fare, it’s clear that the further you have travel the bigger the savings. in fact, picking up the KLIA T1/T2 – KL Sentral card for RM250 unlimited travel, is equivalent to around 5 single journeys on this route for regular travellers.

MyKLIA Monthly TravelCard (MTC)

This Card is offered exclusively to the airport community working at KLIA Terminal 1 (T1) and Terminal 2 (T2).

The monthly passes are now available for purchase during a Promotion Period until 1st July 2026, with a travel validity period from 1st May to 31 July 2026.

How to Purchase

MyKLIA Monthly TravelCard (MTC):

  1. Employees must submit their personal details to their employer, who will send the completed form to [email protected] for verification.
  2. After verification, a confirmation email with login details and a temporary password will be sent within four (4) working days.
  3. Log in to the KLIA Ekspres website or the KLIA Ekspres mobile app to purchase the MyKLIA MTC reload voucher.
  4. Redeem the voucher using your MyKad at selected travel stations.

MyPutrajaya Monthly TravelCard (MTC):

  1. Eligible civil servants must register their MyKad online via mykad.KLIAekspres.com/.
  2. Once verified, they will receive a confirmation email to proceed with the purchase.
  3. After registration approval, users can purchase the MyPutrajaya MTC reload voucher via the ERL website (KLIA Ekspres website) or the KLIA Ekspres mobile app.
  4. The reload voucher can be redeemed at selected stations based on the chosen route.
