Are you a young Fashion Designer?
AirAsia is looking for 10 young designers to showcase their Ready to Wear designs at the upcoming Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week, (KLFW RTW) 2015.
The young designers will have the opportunity to showcase their creations on the prestigious runway stage of KL Fashion Week RTW 2015 on 16th August.
How can I participate?
The designer search is open to any aspiring young fashion designer with or without formal fashion training, under 28 years old on the closing date.
For more information and enter the competition, download the AirAsia Runway Ready entry form and submit with your sketches before 5.00PM (GMT +8) on 12th June 2015.
25 shortlisted applicants will be invited to present their design collection with the theme ‘Asean’ to the panel of judges. The Top 10 selected to be featured at the KLFW RTW 2015 runway will be selected during this session.
Who are the judges?
Aireen Omar, CEO of AirAsia Berhad and Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week Ready To Wear (KLFW RTW) Founder Andrew Tan, will be joined by well known Malaysian fashion designers Khoon Hooi and Jovian Mandagie and Khairul Abidin Ishak, Editor of EH! Magazine.
What opportunities await the top designers??
Three ‘best designers’ will be revealed at the end of the search as ‘AirAsia Most Promising Designer 2015’, receiving prizes which include a AirAsia Runway Ready Designer Search trophy, return flights to Tokyo, Sydney and Hong Kong, up to 60,000 AirAsia BIG Points each and a chance to be part of other Fashion Weeks in the region.
Fashion designers from around the region will also be flown in by AirAsia to be part of KLFW RTW2015, providing the 10 young designers with an opportunity to meet and learn from them.
