AirAsia free base-fare seats return to 130 destinations on sale until 18th June 2023. They’ve got destinations across Malaysia, the region and wider afield to choose from. This means that the base fare is zero, what you pay is the taxes and other required charges.
Free base-fare seats: what’s on offer?
Free base-fare seats are available for booking to travel to popular and scenic domestic destinations on AirAsia Malaysia (AK) all-in** one-way, starting from RM25. On offer are busy routes to and from Penang, Kuala Terengganu, Langkawi, Alor Setar, Johor Bahru and other destinations. You can also travel to vibrant international cities, including Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Krabi and stunning Asean destinations from RM60 all-in** one-way.
Fly further with AirAsia X (D7) to bustling destinations such as Busan, Hangzhou, Melbourne, Osaka, Taipei starting from RM279 all-in** one-way in Economy or from RM899 all-in** one-way on a Premium Flatbed.

Booking and travel periods
The promotional fares for the free base-fare seats are available for booking until 18th June 2023 for travel between 1st September 2023 and 8th October 2024.

We all know that those pesky ‘add-ons’ bump up the price you have to pay, so it’s good to know you can complete your booking with up to 50% off your Value Pack, booked together with your fare.
