AirAsia and Sony reveal joint ambassador

AirAsia and Sony announce their new joint ambassador as the results of their 10-week global search are revealed. The talented winner was introduced to guests at a #ThroughTheLens event on 19th October.

and the joint ambassador is…

The judges decided that the photographer whose work stood out is Aisha Nazar from Kuala Lumpur. Her work was chosen from over 700 submissions from around the world. As ambassador, Aisha will enjoy a one-year joint ambassadorship prize with the two leading travel and technology brands.

As part of her prize, Aisha will travel to Tokyo by AirAsia’s Premium Flatbed to tour Sony’s technology lab. Here she’ll experience Sony’s future technologies and some yet to be released inventions.

She’ll also undergo a full year apprenticeship with Sony. The prize comes with Sony’s latest full frame mirrorless camera, the Alpha A7 III K. The prize also includes Sony h.ear on 2 wireless headphone. These two are valued at over MYR10,000.

Sony Malaysia Managing Director Satoru Arai noted that passion for photography and travel has advanced tremendously. He commented that everyone to produce high quality photos to tell inspiring travel stories. The evidence is in the submissions received during the joint ambassador search.

He added:

Celebrity faces

Five well known Malaysian artistes were announced as the faces of AirAsia’s #ThroughTheLens campaign. Elfira Loy, Alvin Chong, Izara Aishah, Zahirah MacWilson and Che Puan Juliana Evans share their travel videos. These see them flying to popular AirAsia destinations such as Xi’an, Tokyo, Amritsar, Taipei and Seoul. Look out for these videos on airasia.com/throughthelens with Seoul as the first destination.
