Qantas has responded to passenger demand with extra flights between Australia and Hong Kong and Manila with an additional four Sydney-Hong Kong services weekly, slated to take off from 26th October 2015. During the holiday season from Sunday 6th December 2015 to 20th March 2016, an extra flight will raise the number of choices to five per week for travellers between Sydney and Manila. All new flights are subject to regulatory approval.
Qantas plans to operate the four new Sydney-Hong Kong services using the newly refurbished A330 aircraft with lie-flat seats in Business and new Economy seats providing a choice of two flights a day on peak days of the week.
These new flights are in addition to the 140 already announced seasonal services to Asia later this year and are a result of the flexibility offered by the dynamic nature of the Qantas network and efficient use of aircraft across the fleet.
Flights for the new Hong Kong services may be booked on the Qantas website or through your preferred Travel Agent.
The new Manila services will be available for sale in mid-September and Qantas will keep customers updated.
