UPDATE: The removal of PCR testing on arrival in among changes announced at a meeting on 22nd April, the details are available HERE and all incoming travellers will be classified by their vaccination status. Thailand welcomes visitors from forty-six countries in a statement issued on 21st October 2021. The statement gives an overview of the changes, which apparently do away with the currently required Certificate of Entry. The CoE will be required until the end of the month as the new scheme takes effect from 1st November 2021. Re: List of countries and territories permitted to enter the Kingdom of Thailand for Individuals under category (13)
Pursuant to the Order of the Centre for the Administration of the Situation due to the Outbreak of the Communicable Disease Coronavirus (COVID-19)No. 17/2563 on Guidelines under Section 9 of the Emergency Decree on Public Administration in Emergency Situations B.E. 2548 (2005) dated 21 October B.E.2664 (2021) appointing the Operation Centre for Measures on the Entry into and Departure from the Kingdom, and Protection of Thai Nationals Abroad to approve the list of countries and territories permitted to enter the Kingdom of Thailand for individuals under category(13) ”Individuals who have been granted permission to enter the Kingdom of Thailand for the benefit of the economy in conjunction with public health security measures and the Government’s plan to reopen the country” according to the guidelines established by the Ministry of Public Health and proposal of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and Tourism Authority of Thailand.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as the Head of the Centre, hereby issue the notification that individuals under category (13) from the list of countries and territories as attached are permitted to enter the Kingdom of Thailand.
