The Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) has appointed Malaysia Airlines Official their Airline Partner for the Malaysian Contingent to the XXXII Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. The Games will take place in the Japanese capital between 23rd July and 8th August 2021.

The partnership will see the National airline ferrying officials and Malaysian athletes competing in ten competitive sports at the Olympic Games. The first group of athletes is expected to depart Kuala Lumpur on 8th July 2021 via MH070, followed by a second set on 17th July’s MH9118, The third group will depart on 25th July 2020 on MH070. Among the athletes travelling are Malaysia Airlines’ brand ambassadors, national divers, Pandelela Rinong Pamg and Nur Dhabitah Sabri.
The trip will be a direct hop between Kuala Lumpur and Tokyo using Malaysia Airlines’ Airbus 330-300 aircraft. In view of current Covid safe travel requirements, the airline is committed to providing a journey that is safe, seamless, and comfortable on the ground and onboard.

The Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 will see athletes from around the globe competing in 33 multi-sports across Tokyo.
