Malaysia Airlines’ Year-End Sale 2023

Malaysia Airlines is holding their Year-End Sale 2023 until 11th December with great fares on offer for both local and overseas destinations.

Year-End Sale 2023 offers

Ticket prices start from RM79 to all domestic destinations and from RM229 to international destinations throughout the Year-End Sale. With lots of holidays coming up this might be a good time to take advantage of what’s on offer close to home like a short stay in Langkawi or a trip to Miri to visit the Mulu caves. If you want something further afield, all-in one-way fares Economy Class fares across ASEAN start from RM229 from Kuching to Singapore, RM249 from Kuala Lumpur to Kertajati or RM299 to Ho Chi Minh City.

With the recent announcement of 15-day visa-free entry for Malaysians travelling to China effective 1st December 2023, this is the time for travellers to take advantage of all-in return Economy Class offer fares to Guangzhou from RM1,099; Shanghai from RM1,599 and Beijing from RM1,699.

Although India has not yet reciprocated the recent announcement of 30-day visa-free entry for visitors from India into Malaysia effective 1st December 2023, the airline has recently launched routes to Amritsar, Trivandrum and Ahmedabad with all-in return Economy fares starting from RM999. Initially offering two flights weekly, these will increase to 4 times weekly from 15th January 2024. Other fares on offer are all-in Economy return fares to Bengaluru from RM1,139; Hong Kong from RM1,399; Perth from RM1,959 and Auckland from RM3,599.

Malaysia Airlines’ Economy Fares come in three levels ‘Lite’ with 7kg carry on,10 kg checked baggage and complimentary meals. You can pay a little extra (depending on the route) to choose ‘Basic’ which gives you 20kg checked baggage and a 10% child discount. The more expensive option, ‘Flex’ Fare increases the checked baggage to 35kg, access to standard seat selection and ability to rebook or change tickets with no fee.

Travellers can also take advantage of add-ons including 20% off extra baggage, Golden Lounge access, value bundle (standard seat + 10kg extra baggage) and premium bundle (extra legroom seat + Golden Lounge access) discounts, as well as 20% bonus Enrich Points on bookings and 20% off MHinsure and selected brands on Temptations.
