Now, even if you’re not a regular Business Class traveller when you pay for your own tickets, you might get to sit up there if you travel for work, or you may have enough Enrich Loyalty Miles to get an upgrade. Malaysia Airlines Business class seats have recently had an upgrade announced.
So, just so you know what to look forward to, here’s a peek at the 27 new business class seats going into each of the 15 soon to be reconfigured Airbus A330-300 aircraft from April 2016 with all to be fitted by September 2016.
The business class seat with a pitch of 43″, a width of 20.6″ and length of 76″ (fully flat), is said to be one of the best received business class seats in the industry. The seats come with increased working space, with 90% of all seats having direct aisle access due to the 1-2-1 and 1-2-2 seat layout and extra stowage space for personal items. Each seat is equipped with a Panasonic 16-inch touch screen inflight entertainment system, designed with the passenger’s comfort and needs in mind.
Malaysia Airlines Group CEO Christoph Mueller said at the launch of the new seats, “We are very excited to be introducing this latest product from Malaysia Airlines. The new seats and configuration have been designed to give a superb space for work, play or sleep. All of our A330 business class seats will now feature fully flat beds allowing our guests the ultimate in comfort and versatility.”
He added that “This product will make us more competitive against other full-service carriers and is part of the airline’s push to be more customer centric, offering new, personalized and innovative products.”
