You’ll be able to fly Kuala Lumpur – Doha direct with Malaysia Airlines by the end of May 2022 as the airline expands its international network. This service is their third destination in the Middle East, after Jeddah and Madinah, set to start 25th May 2022.

The new service offers passengers seamless connectivity via Hamad International Airport, enabling optimal connections to United States, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, through their codeshare partnership with Qatar Airways. Malaysia Airlines and Qatar Airways currently offer 62 codeshare destinations in Malaysia, Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, Europe, the United States, and Africa.

He noted that the new service marks another milestone in the airline network’s expansion plan to become Asia’s Leading Travel and Aviation Services Group and is expected to boost the growth of traffic flow via KLIA. This will also open up Malaysia more broadly to travellers from other international destinations.
The Kuala Lumpur – Doha direct flight will operate daily between Kuala Lumpur (KUL) International Airport and Hamad International Airport, Doha (DOH). MH160 departs Kuala Lumpur at 9:20pm returning as MH161, departing Doha at 01:30am. The service will operate using the airline’s A330-300 aircraft, offering 290 seats, 27 seats in Business Class, 16 Economy with extra legroom and 247 seats in Economy Class.
