Jetstar to Kuala Lumpur – which terminal?

October 25, 201449 second read

** Update:

From 8th July 2015, Jetstar will move to KLIA2, about 2km from the current terminal KLIA. We have the latest information regarding the move here.

The information below is current up until 7th July 2015.

If you’re travelling to Kuala Lumpur on a Jetstar flight and need to be collected or transfer to another flight on a different airline it’s useful to know that Jetstar has always been flying into the main terminal, known as KLIA. Other low cost airlines use the new KLIA2 sited 2km south west of KLIA, so if you are transferring flights, you may need to change terminals.

The easiest, quickest and least expensive option is to catch the Express Rail Link ERL, which leaves every 15 minutes, takes 5 minutes and costs RM2. You can’t miss the big purple signage around the lifts in the Arrival hall so it’s easy to find and the lifts will take you straight down to the ticketing area.

Exchange rate 24th October AUD 1 = MYR 2.87  USD 1 = MYR 3.28
