It’s winter in Europe and there are lots of offers currently available from Australia and Asia for tickets you can use almost immediately, with some airlines offering travel to well into 2015. Two of those with winter in Europe promotions at the moment are Qatar Airways and Lufthansa.
Qatar Airways has just has a brilliant sale with tickets as low as just over MYR2300 return Kuala Lumpur to Paris, and they still have flights available for not much more. You can find Athens for MYR2953 or Frankfurt from MYR2499. Paris is still available from MYR2379. If you’re feeling like a little luxury, you can get a 2 for 1 Business class return fare to Berlin, Belgrade or Brussels for less than MYR16,000. But be quick, these offers are only available until 26th November for flights between 1st December 2014 and 26th March 2015.
If you are flying out of Australia, Economy fares start from AUD1385 to AUD1625, Ex Perth and AUD1325 to AUD1765 Ex Melbourne. Qatar Airways currently only flies out of Perth and Melbourne. These fares are available until 26th or 28th November and valid until 28th February 2015 or between 1st February 2015 and 31st October 2015, depending on location.

Lufthansa has announced details of a two day sale on 25th and 26th November Ex Kuala Lumpur or Penang to various European destinations. Departures are available between 1st December 2014 and 31st July 2015, for return between 17th December 2014 and 31st October 2015. Fares range between MYR2371 to Dublin and MYR2693 for United Kingdom destinations. Most fares for continental destinations are below MYR2400.
From Australia, fly return Melbourne Frankfurt for AUD1476, or Brisbane to Florence for AUD1600. These fares are available until 12th December 2014, for departure between 2nd December 2014 and 31st March 2015, to return between 2nd December 2014 and 30th June 2015. Premium Economy fares are also available until 12 December 2014 for departures until 31 March 2015. These fares are approximately double the Economy sale fares currently on offer.
Lufthansa is a member of Star Alliance and some flights may be on partner airlines.
