If you’re travelling to Fukuoka in Japan between 1st December 2015 and 29th February, 2016 and have a JBC global payment card issued outside of Japan, you’ll be entitled to ride the buses in central Fukuoka just by showing your JCB card.
JCB is a global payment brand and a leading credit card issuer and acquirer in Japan. Since they began their international expansion in 1991, they have built up a total 89 million cardmembers in 19 countries and territories. The card is widely accepted by around 29 million merchants and over a million cash advance locations in 190 countries and territories.

…I am delighted to be able to provide over 20 million JCB cardmembers outside Japan with this exclusive service in cooperation with Nishi-Nippon Railroad.
