AirAsia relaunches seven Chinese destinations

Chinese destinations are back on people’s travel list since the country opened their borders recently. AirAsia has now begun it’s return to China, with the first flight to/from Guangzhou on 10th February 2023, with a good response from travellers.

AirAsia Malaysia (AK) is restarting four China destinations from two hubs – Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu to Macao, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Kunming. With an initial 10 flights weekly, the airline plans to increase the frequency by up to 27 flights weekly in March.

Complementing the resumption of the short-haul destinations, AirAsia X Malaysia (D7) is set to reconnect Kuala Lumpur to Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Chengdu offering 10 flights weekly from 1st March 2023.
